02Travel to Jaipur and begin Rajasthan through markets, colour and monumental scale.

05Visit the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort before returning to Delhi.
06Explore Delhi, with an evening that can add a little Bollywood energy.

08Leave Kathmandu and trek through the green hills to Chisapani.

Accommodation and rooms
Twin rooms are standard, with some triples if clearly stated. One trekking night uses a simple guesthouse with shared bathroom. A backpack is required; rigid trolleys do not work on the trail.
